BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir London
For this month’s Social CPD the London office was invited to a guided tour around the Neasden Hindu Temple known as BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. The Temple was built by one of Wolff Architects main contractors Laxcon Construction.
The Temple is a masterpiece of traditional Hindu design and exquisite workmanship that rises along London's iconic skyline. Using 5,000 tonnes of Italian Carrara and Indian Ambaji marble and the finest Bulgarian limestone, it was hand-carved in India before being assembled in London.
After our tour of the Temple, we ate in the Shayona restaurant located next door and indulged in some traditional Hindu dishes.
